The Windmill has long been known in the region as a premier steak and seafood supper club. We are excited to offer you the same delicious style of cooking that our restaurant is built on, while innovating the look and atmosphere of our restaurant. Our long-time signature item, Prawns, is still being proudly served just the way it was fifty years ago. We know how important tradition is to the Montana way of life, and we want to keep our guests coming back to enjoy the food and drinks they know and love. We take pride in our history, but we’ve made big changes in the last few years, too. We wanted to remain professional, sleek, and open, but with a more relaxed and comforting feel. Our goal is to create a calm, fun, and beautiful space to enjoy. Keeping all that you loved about us, we have also expanded our casual and relaxed atmosphere, and now our restaurant is open, inviting and ready for you.

The redesigned floor plan and menu lends itself well to events, private parties, and casual family dinners. At the Windmill, our goal has always been to be the leading all-service restaurant in Billings, Montana, and we truly believe that you’ll enjoy your visits here. From the delicious and fresh food to the microbrews and signature drinks, we have the atmosphere and menu you’ve been looking for.

We’ve even revamped our menus to feature more exciting flavors, while keeping the recipes and favorite dishes that Billings loves. We’ve added more fresh and amazing sandwiches and salads choices, juicy burgers, and we’ve kept all your favorites like our delicate halibut, prawns, and famous chicken. You can make a reservation, but our bar and patio are both designated for walk-ins and both offer full menu dining service. We offer our full lunch and dinner menus as well as our appetizer menu in both locations. Bringing the kids? We have a kids menu, too.
